Personality - Stephen is very kind to others, unless offended, in which case he will become as defensive as he can. He is also very intelligent, the top of his class before everyone over twenty dropped dead. He is very shy, though, and hardly talks. Stephen doesn't look people in the eye much, and seldom stands near anyone. He is a believer, despite the chaos, and prays to God frequently.

Personal Background - Stephen grew up on a rural farm in Kansas, living with his mother, siblings and grandparents. Growing up on a farm, he had to do daily chores, such as milking the cows and collecting eggs from the chickens. The young man often prayed for things to become better for his family, for they were on the edge of poverty. He prayed very much, but in the end, it was far from better. Stephen's mother could not support the family, and ended up having to put the young twins up for adoption to keep everyone alive. This was not enough, and eventually Grandma Hazel passed, and Grandpa George soon followed. With this, Stephen's mother, whose name was Allison, could now support the family. She helped her sons and daughters grow into the good adults they were meant to be. Everything went well, and life was almost blissful after that. Then, it happened.

Every person over twenty dropped dead one day. Stephen woke up to find his mother dead in her bed. With this, he learned his other siblings were also dead. He knew he had to run to stay alive. Stephen gathered his things, hopped on his family's horse, and rode north. He kept riding, fighting for survival, until he reached Trenton. He there found safety in a shack of a house not too far away from the urban city. There, his horse, Black Beauty, died of cold and hunger. Stephen stayed at the shack until he finally chose to leave, and found his way into a group. (( Going straight from this to the RP, if that's allowed.))
